Plot summary
Vijay Salgaonkar grew up an orphan and left school in the fourth grade. He now runs a cable television business in Goa and has earned a local name for helping people with tricks he picks up from the movies he loves. He lives with his wife Nandini and their two daughters, Anju, his elder adopted child, and Anu. At a school camp, a hidden phone camera records Anju in the bathroom. The clip belongs to a fellow student, Sameer Deshmukh, called Sam, whose mother Meera Deshmukh is the Inspector-general of police. Sam demands sexual favors in exchange for keeping the video to himself and comes to the family's house, where Nandini asks him to remove the clip and leave her daughter alone; he refuses.
