Plot summary
Dr. Ackerman's car goes off the road one night after a UFO crosses his path, and his biology class is left without a teacher. A substitute arrives: Ms. Xenobia, who tells the students she will take the course for now. She needs someone to take part in an experiment, and every boy in the room raises a hand except Wesley Littlejohn, a nerdy student who is bullied at school and too shy to speak to Leanne, the girl he likes. Extra credit changes his mind and he signs up. He hears Xenobia out after school in the company of her assistant, Drax. She calls the experiment a vitamin supplement, and when Wesley refuses the injection she gives it to him anyway. It leaves a stalk growing from his head.

- Brad Pitt originally auditioned for the lead role in Dr. Alien, but director David DeCoteau said he didn't fit the part; DeCoteau had a feeling Pitt would go on to bigger things and was proved right two years later when he saw Pitt in Thelma & Louise (1991).
