Plot summary
Nobita hears of strange events on the Moon and tells his class that the Moon Rabbit caused them. Nobody believes him, and after he mimics rabbit rice-cake pounding he hits his teacher. Doraemon reluctantly brings out the Divergent View Badge and creates an atmosphere on the Moon, and they shape Moonbit from animal clay. At the Moon Viewing Ceremony, Nobita spots a boy who vanishes when called. The next morning a new pupil, Luca, arrives and Nobita recognizes him. Doraemon takes him to the Kingdom, where the bamboo glows from Shining Moss. In the playground he gives badges to Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo and invites them. Luca welcomes the group at the rabbit kingdom, where they meet a rabbit resembling Nobita, named Nobit. Doraemon warns the badges let them see the kingdom and breathe.
