Destination: Infestation (2007) on Netflix

Plot summary

The cabin of a US passenger plane flying home from Colombia to Miami is overrun with mutated bullet ants, and their sting is the most painful of any insect's and can be deadly. Dr. Carrie Ross, an entomologist, is on board with her daughter, Jamie Ross. Also on the flight is the plane's air marshal, Ethan Hart. Dr. Ross works with him to deal with the outbreak. The ants chew through electrical cables and fiber optics while the plane is in the air. A government official will not permit an emergency landing, fearing that the ants would reach the United States.
