Delivered (2011) on Netflix

Plot summary

Shane Green comes home from the war to his widowed mother, Marilyn, who lost their house to foreclosure while he served and now works two jobs to get by. He promises to get the house back and takes the only work he can find, as an armed courier driving his father's 1967 Mustang. After routine deliveries, his boss gives him one more job: collect cash meant to buy a rare piece of art. On the way he stops at a roadside diner and intervenes when a drunk trucker bothers a young woman, then offers her a ride. Lonely for company, he takes a room at a desert motel before finishing the delivery the next morning.
