Plot summary
Rickie and J.T. are high school seniors who watch girls they wish they could date, Joann most of all. Rickie has known Joann since he was a child, and she has a boyfriend, Johnny. One day the two boys cut class and wander into a shuttered psychiatric hospital, where they find a mute, naked woman chained to a table in the basement. She cannot be killed. J.T. gives her the name Deadgirl and wants to keep her there. Rickie wants to set her free, but J.T. brings their friend Wheeler in on the secret, and Rickie tells no one else about what they found.
