Plot summary
Julie Matthews is a young woman who lacks confidence and keeps the memory of her dead husband close. Alex Hiller is an angry writer who cannot repeat the first success he had. He has nothing left to say and wants to die. The two arrive separately at the edge of a cliff. Julie is picking flowers when she falls. Alex has come there to shoot himself, and her cry for help reaches him before he can pull the trigger.
