Plot summary
Chris, Isabella, Jake, Lilly and Oz are graduate students. With their professor, Dr. Dennis Kasdan, they head into the Northeastern wilderness hunting evidence of Bigfoot, timing the trip to Dead Month, a stretch known for strange creature sightings and unexplained disappearances. On the trail the group finds a decayed skeleton wearing a green-stoned necklace, and Isabella quietly takes it, worried that reporting the discovery would end the trip early. The woods hold a second presence: a malevolent spirit, the Wendigo, which preys on those who trespass in its territory, and once it knows the group is there, it comes for them.
