Jim Sanders writes music and hopes to build a career from it. He is engaged to Patty Winston, whose father Ed owns a cosmetics company. The night of their engagement party, his friends George, Don and Rex carry him off for a bachelor party. He passes out and wakes with an angel in his swimming pool, unconscious. He carries her inside and revives her, and learns that her right wing is broken. She cannot speak, only cooing and squealing, and she kisses him. His friends propose profiting from her, which Jim refuses. Patty arrives, sees the angel wrapped in a blanket, and leaves angrily, believing Jim is involved with someone else.
