Plot summary
A team of scientists works on a secret military base. Their machine, called Eruptor, supercharges Dark Matter and directs it at a chosen target, altering the molecular structure of that target until nothing remains. The team regards the breakthrough as unequaled since the invention of the atomic bomb. When the device malfunctions, one of the project's leading scientists is hit by Dark Matter. The exposure leaves him with remarkable abilities, including the power to control weather. Eruptor itself still threatens the world.
