Plot summary
Hot Blooded was a slasher movie left unfinished in 1988, after an accident on set injured its actress Vanessa Turnbill and its director, Hilary Jacobs, was murdered. Lossman, once Vanessa's personal assistant, now teaches film and warns his students against completing it: those who have tried died. Raffy Carruthers, Hester Ryan, Julie Bardot, Rick Stephens, Jim Pilonski, Cassie Woolf, Paulie Morrelli, and Damien Ogle ignore him. Martha, an elderly woman, gives them the rights, and a copy of the unfinished film; Mr. Drivett allows them to shoot in the mansion where Hot Blooded was made. Vanessa, now a golfer, agrees to come back to Australia for it. Their friend Bobby Doog takes the part of Scarman.
