Plot summary
A string of bank robberies in Reykjavík puzzles the police, because nothing appears to have been taken. During the latest raid a woman escapes on a motorbike, and Bússi gives chase through the streets, with his partner Klemenz protesting from the car because his son is in the back. The chase ends at an abandoned warehouse, where Bússi accidentally shoots Klemenz and the woman escapes. Þorgerður, Bússi's chief, disciplines him for the damage he caused, and at home his girlfriend Lilja leaves after a fight. Rikki Ferrari, who runs the gang, is already planning the next job, and at the next bank Bússi finds Hörður, his rival for the title of Iceland's best cop, already inside.
