Child of Kamiari Month (2021) on Netflix

Plot summary

Kanna Hayama is an elementary school girl in Tokyo's Sumida ward, living with her father Norimasa a year after her mother Yayoi died. She once ran with joy, but the marathon at school now leaves her standing still. At the shrine near her home she finds her mother's bracelet, and the white rabbit she tends at school, Shiro, begins to speak. Shiro is a messenger of the deities: in October the gods of the country gather at Izumo-taisha in Shimane, and someone must travel to the shrines along the way, collect their feast offerings and deliver them to Izumo by seven in the evening. A demon boy named Yasha demands Kanna's bracelet. Kanna sets out with Shiro to gather the offerings, carrying them in a magic gourd.
