Plot summary
After six months of digging in a Colorado cave, Dave and his team reach the grave of the Spanish explorer Coronado, more than four hundred years old. The treasures and the skeleton are taken to the museum, and Dave and his son Charlie, a preteen, settle into a house near the university. Marta, the maid, believes the bones should have stayed where they were. Charlie gets to know a cute girl and a group of bullies in the neighborhood. Coronado's spirit wants his remains buried on holy ground, and he haunts Charlie for days. When Charlie runs to his father at the museum, he disturbs Dave's presentation of the findings, and the ghost asks him for help.
