Plot summary
Black Racklin has the success, the respect and the money that others dream of, but emotionally he is dead. As a writer and producer he is on the verge of a major step up in his career, and much is going on around him. In his dreams a train passes by, standing for time, and he pictures himself hesitating to board it. Katherine arrives in his life through a fantastical occurrence, and he comes alive again. She knows the same magic. The two fall in love, and she is ready to set logic aside, to seize the moment and ride that train of time at his side. Black weighs it with his reason and pauses.
