Plot summary
Andrew graduates from Tulane and moves back in with his family in New Jersey, unsure what comes next. His girlfriend, Maya, has left for Barcelona to finish a Fulbright, and he hopes to follow her there. When he takes his younger brother David to a bat mitzvah, Andrew gets the kids dancing, and the mothers at the party notice. They hire him as a party starter for their upcoming bar and bat mitzvahs, work he calls the Jig Conductor. At that first party he introduces himself to Domino, whose autistic daughter, Lola, he coaxes onto the dance floor. People his age have been spreading rumors about Domino.
