Plot summary
On a flight, Danny befriends Rhea and recounts the history of a legendary diamond. Found in 1836 by a South Indian miner, it went to his king, then to a British viceroy whose ship sank with it. A fisherman recovered it a century later and gave it to his master, who split it among his three sons. One share was gambled away, a second seized by a general, and the third vanished after the youngest brother was murdered. Two pieces sit in a Belgian museum, and a criminal called The Uncle sends his henchman Angad for them. He wants the third too, the one thugs seized from a Gujarati dealer in a staged car accident. Shanaya, who handles security for the South African High Commission, had been contacted by that dealer.

- Cash contains 20 minutes of animated segments. Director Anubhav Sinha dropped the animation idea while writing because of cost constraints, but after returning from the South Africa shoot and seeing the rushes, everyone suggested including it.
