Plot summary
James Bragg has spent years in the army. He comes back to his hometown, where his brother was convicted of raping and killing two white girls. Bragg is sure the conviction was wrong and wants proof of his brother's innocence. Some of the people in town know what happened back then, and they will stop at nothing to keep it hidden.
