Plot summary
Vetriselvan, an army captain raised in an army school, treats his teammates Karuna, Sheikh, Rekha and Karthi as his family. Command sends the group to Sector-42, where a mineral factory once operated under East India Company rule and where unusual activity has kept people out for fifty years. Dr. Keerthi, a defense ministry scientist on the Minotaur project, has set up a lab near the forest with Vikram to study the creature behind the danger; it carries no body temperature and spits venom that renders people unconscious. Vetri's unit was the last to enter the area, so Keerthi picks it to go back in, over objections from General Bala.
