Plot summary
A car breakdown leaves Clifford Sturges and Gloria Wellaby in Farnhamville, a secluded Ontario town. A traveler they meet is searching for his missing sister. At a motel, the owner, Mrs. Wainwright, tells them the legend of the Cannibal Girls: Anthea, Clarissa and Leona, three women who lure men with seductive charm, feast on them alive, and drink their blood to keep their youth and immortality. The women are said to have a servant named Bunker. Mrs. Wainwright takes the couple to a bed and breakfast said to be the Cannibal Girls' former home, where they meet the host, Rev. Alex St. John, and stay the night because of a thunderstorm and a warning about an escaped lunatic.
