Plot summary
David Collins is a Los Angeles man who has spent years dodging commitment. Sarah, his girlfriend, works in advertising, and she tells him he must decide whether he is in or out. She leaves for a job in New York and will be gone two months. His friends, who are more outgoing, urge him to rejoin the dating scene. David wants to find the one woman meant for him, and he keeps spotting the same mysterious woman about town. Each time, she is gone before he can speak with her.
