Plot summary
Lily Trevino works as a live-in aide. After she receives a text from her boyfriend that was meant for another woman, she ends the relationship. When she turns to her father, he ignores her attempt to share a poem and instead shows off photos of women he is chasing. She tries to apologize after a date goes badly, but he calls security on her. Desperate to reach him, she searches for him on Facebook and sends a friend request to a Bob Trevino with no profile picture. When the request is accepted, she realizes this is a different Bob Trevino, a construction manager in nearby Indiana who has few friends. He likes her posts, and they begin an online friendship. Soon he shows her the kindness she has not received before.
