Plot summary
Bo is volatile, and she travels to Georgia to stand at the grave of her father, a trumpeter who was well known. She has come looking for her roots and for a way to understand him better. In Georgia she runs into Levan, a man who was a childhood friend of her father. He drives a truck, and she decides to hitch a ride with him. The two of them cross the Georgian landscape together, and her father's melancholy trumpet playing travels with them. Levan is older than Bo, but despite the age difference the two of them give in to the love between them.
