Plot summary
Jim Henderson has come back to the small California town where he grew up. His plan is to fix up his late mother's house and sell it. While he is shopping at a supermarket, he bumps into Amanda, the girlfriend he had in high school. The two greet each other, and when they meet again in the parking lot they decide to have coffee at a place called Blue Jay. There they talk about what has happened to them since. Amanda got married and became a stepmother to two children. Jim fixes up old houses alongside his uncle.
