Plot summary
Ortega leads a band of Mexican bandits and revolutionaries. He has an adopted son, Azul, called Blue because of his eye color, and three sons of his own: Xavier, Manuel and Antonio. In 1880 the gang attacks settlers in Texas, and Antonio is killed. Manuel turns on Joanne Morton, one of the settler women, and Azul shoots him, then is hit by a settler's bullet. Joanne says Azul saved her, and she and her father, Doc, help him recover at their home.
