Plot summary
Dee Twiddle is a dancer who owns a gassy pet turtle named Virgil. Dawn St. Dom is a former secretary who has tried dancing. They meet at their first flight lesson, each thinking the other is the teacher, and the training plane comes down on a golf course. The two become best friends and learn they have been next-door neighbors for almost a year. Dee arranges an audition for Dawn at the Beaver Patch Lounge, whose owner the Vancouver Italian Mafia wants dead; he is in witness protection under the eyes of agents Campbell and Gardenia. The mob's Godfather dispatches the assassins Cat and Kit. Mobsters Leo and Swan, watching the club, see the blondes running and believe they are Cat and Kit, then send them to Niagara Falls.
