Plot summary
Leo and Lenny are friends in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. Leo shares a rundown apartment with his girlfriend Louise, while Lenny, a shy film expert, works in a video store run by Kitjo. Louise wants to keep the baby she is expecting, and Leo becomes increasingly aggressive toward her. At a club, Leo and Louis, Louise's brother, witness a beating, and Leo is shaken by the violence yet also drawn to it. Louis holds an aggressive racist attitude, and he and Leo argue afterward. Lenny, meanwhile, keeps trying to ask out Lea, who works at a grill bar nearby, and after some casual meetings she agrees to a trip to the cinema with him.
