Plot summary
Jos Vreeswijk has put his criminal past behind him and is preparing to marry. On the morning before the wedding he wakes beside a man who has been killed, and the night that led there is a blank to him. A gang of criminals has settled on him as the only suspect in the disappearance of twenty kilos of cocaine. They give him twenty-four hours to return the drugs, and the threat hanging over his bride's life is what drives the deadline. That leaves him one route: to move again through the petty thieves and drug dealers he once knew, and to be done before the wedding day.
