Plot summary
Antwerp detectives Eric Vincke and Freddy Verstuyft take on a case that leads them into the Albanian mafia clans working in the city. Alongside it runs a private matter: Nazim Tahiri has learned that members of the rival Gaba clan killed his father in Antwerp. Kanun, an Albanian legal code from the fifteenth century, obliges him to seek revenge, and he travels to the city, where his godfather, Prenk Shehu, heads the family's mafia businesses. Vincke is the officer assigned to find out what the Albanian clans are doing, and Verstuyft works the case beside him. Problems inside their own police division complicate the investigation.
