Black Butterfly (2017) on Netflix

Plot summary

Paul is a screenwriter who lives alone on a farm and has stopped writing. Laura, his real estate agent, brings a couple to view the property, and Paul arranges to see her at a diner later. On the drive he argues with a truck driver who will not make room for him to pass. That driver turns up at the diner and goes for Paul, until a customer named Jack throws him out. Driving back, Paul sees Jack on the road, learns he has nowhere to go and offers him the guest room. Jack cooks, handles chores and presses Paul to work on a script. Storms have cut the phone and internet, so Paul is out of touch with everyone.
