Plot summary
Dr. Benton Walsh, an American weapons researcher, has gone rogue, and a Delta Force team is sent into the Belzan forest in Chechnya to find him and the camp he has set up there. Katya, a CIA agent born in Russia, goes along with the soldiers, and Captain Russo leads the squad in. Genetically altered bats that feed on flesh attack them before they can locate Walsh. The soldiers who live through the assault try to reach the spot where a helicopter is set to lift them out, and Chechen rebels are among the difficulties they face on the way.
