Plot summary
Barbie is reprogramming a level of an online game when it freezes, and her friends Teresa and Renee sign off. Chelsea arrives and tries the level but is too frightened to take her character through the opening cave, and asks Barbie to build a game that suits her better. The game's tutorial, a small cloud, offers Barbie a trial of something new, and when she accepts she is drawn through the tablet into a world of carnival rides and race courses, where she takes an anime-style skating form. The cloud, Cutie, says she was brought in because her skill with games and code makes her the one who can reset the game by beating every level before the emoji virus takes over. Barbie agrees, and at the starting line she meets Bella and Chris.
