Plot summary
A prophecy holds that the stars will one day stop their cosmic dance and go dark unless "The One" can restore order to the galaxy. As the sky dims, King Constantine, who rules with strict discipline, still believes the prophecy names him and gathers young recruits for another attempt. On the wildlife preserve planet Para-Den, Barbie cares for animals with telekinetic powers and rides a hoverboard. She hesitates to accept the king's summons until her father urges her to try, and she leaves for the capital. At a ball she meets the team: Sal-Lee, a competitive speedster and champion; Prince Leo, the galaxy's best pilot; and the telepathic sisters Kareena and Sheena, who manipulate gravity. When Leo is humiliated trying to dance, Barbie starts a rave, and Constantine shuts it down as disorderly.
