Plot summary
Kara is a princess in a modern kingdom, and she lives an ordinary life. A butterfly lands on her and kisses her, and the kiss gives her superpowers and turns her into the hero Super Sparkle. With those powers she sets out to defend the kingdom from evil. The same butterfly later kisses her cousin Corinne, who is jealous of Kara. Corinne gains powers of her own and becomes Dark Sparkle, and the two cousins turn into rivals and nemeses.
