Plot summary
Natacha Bison works as a war reporter until her employers let her go, deciding that she puts her colleagues in danger. Serge Renart has spent his career as a television journalist, and that career has faded. Neither of them chooses the other, and neither chooses the assignment: the two of them are pushed into working a story side by side. The story carries them to Thailand, where they hunt for a secret of contemporary history that has been kept closely guarded. They are trying to establish what happened when the Apollo 11 landing was broadcast on television, the moment a man first walked on the moon.
