Plot summary
Rose is free-spirited and parties all night; Alice, a mother of two, is responsible and reserved. The sisters cannot agree on anything except that their mother, Françoise, needs cheering up. Their father has left Françoise for a much younger woman. For her sixtieth birthday, Rose and Alice take her to an all-inclusive resort on the island of Réunion, where they plan to relax, work on their tans and drink too many margaritas.
