Plot summary
Joe works as a freelance contract killer and keeps to a strict set of rules: he stays in quiet places, never meets the people who hire him, and leaves each city without a trace. His latest assignment brings him to Bangkok, where he is to kill four people for a crime boss named Surat, whom he never sees. Through a nightclub dancer, Aom, the contracts reach Kong, a young Thai pickpocket Joe has hired as his go-between. Joe keeps Kong on a rule of his own, telling him never to stop for anything. In the middle of the work Joe meets Fon, a deaf-mute pharmacist, and asks her to dinner.
