Plot summary
Sakshi is trying to make her first film and fails to win over a male star with her script. When an old man's scooter hits her car, she sits in a restaurant opposite Tulsi Apartment, the building where Bollywood actress Tara Janaki died in 1993. Sakshi chooses to make a film about Tara. In a photo album from Tara's last movie she spots Mirchi, the same man whose scooter hit her. She follows him, and he begins to tell her about Tara. In his account, Tara hides in the Kerala home of Alexander "Aala" Dominic during a shoot. Aala had noticed her on a cinema screen while going to catch a goon. Tara asks him for help escaping her adoptive mother Hema Janaki and producer Raghavendra Desai. Police search for the missing actress while she stays with Aala's people.
