Plot summary
Maureen Hatcher is a patient in a mental institution, and she holds that she was the lover of Jack the Ripper in a former life. She is certain that the two of them have both been born again, and that the man now carrying his soul is her psychiatrist, Dr. Trey Campbell. She counts him as her lover as well as the mass murderer reborn, and she terrorizes him. Her sensuality is the means she is willing to use to get to him. She is set on finding her man. He is married to Carly Campbell and has a young daughter.
