Plot summary
Bob Malone has lost his job with the Los Angeles police force and cannot catch a break. At a bank filling out foreclosure papers, he is caught in a robbery led by a crazed criminal, and he takes out most of the robber gang on his own. The ringleader gets away and Malone is jailed by his former colleague Lieutenant Tony Dussecq. Two Japanese yakuza have come to Los Angeles to carry a message to the city's most prominent Mafia don. The robber bursts into their restaurant wearing a vest packed with explosives and threatens to blow it up; Koji intervenes. Koji also ends up at the police station, where Malone's daughter Chelsea arrives with bail money. Koji escapes and takes Malone and Chelsea with him, and crooked coppers and the mob give chase.
