Plot summary
A global thermonuclear war has already happened, and the fighting now happens inside Avalon, a virtual reality video game. Its arena, Avalon(f), holds giant mutant sand whales that players hunt for points. Three women and one man have another goal: Madara Sunakujira, the arena's end boss. Gray is a sniper who flies her own plane. Lucifer wears black, uses magic spells and can turn into a giant crow. Colonel wears burgundy armor and carries an FN FAL with an M203. Jäger is a drifter with a powerful sniper rifle who relies on luck, though the Game Master tells him his luck stat is very low. Their levels are high, yet none of them can engage the boss alone as they want, so the four are forced to form a party.
