Gantz (2010) on Netflix

Plot summary

Kurono and Kato come to in an unfurnished Tokyo apartment after they are killed in a train accident on the subway tracks. A black sphere, Gantz, dominates the room, and a bald man on life support sits inside it. The sphere forces the newly dead to hunt and kill aliens hiding on Earth, awarding points for each kill. At one hundred points, a participant may choose to come back to life or to revive a person they pick. Kurono and Kato take part in the hunts alongside other newly dead people and cannot tell whether the missions are a game or reality.
