Milo's girlfriend, Alice Poulson, supports the move, and the two of them relocate to NURV's headquarters in Portland, Oregon, where the job brings a large paycheck, a loose working environment and control over his own projects. Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Antitrust (2001)

Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.

  • The mansion belonging to software boss Gary Winston does not exist. Its exterior was wholly computer-generated and dropped into Stanley Park in Vancouver, where only the paved walkway and the water behind it are real, and the same digital house was later placed behind the beach shot on Bowen Island.
  • The NURV canteen was really the foyer of the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at the University of British Columbia, decorated after Apple's own canteen, which the producers had visited at the company's headquarters. The concert hall itself gave the shape of "The Egg", where Hoffman's cubicle sits.
  • Production designer Catherine Hardwicke, whom director Peter Howitt called a big surfboard freak, lined the walls around "The Egg" set with mounted surfboards; Howitt said the idea was to make NURV a very cool looking place.
  • The exterior of NURV's Building 21 was built on the University of British Columbia campus, and according to director Peter Howitt the students there kept trying to steal pieces of the set.
