Anthony Zimmer (2005) on Netflix

Plot summary

Anthony Zimmer laundered money through dummy corporations, and his methods drew the attention of police around the world and of the Russian mafia he once worked with. After extensive plastic surgery, no one can describe his face. Detective Akerman is certain Zimmer will return for Chiara Manzoni, the lover he left behind, so she is kept under watch. Chiara picks up François Taillandier, a translator whose build matches Zimmer's, on the Paris to Nice train and invites him to a hotel in Cannes. She gives him a watch with Zimmer's name on the back; by morning she has vanished and armed men are after him.
