Plot summary
In the town of Acme Falls, the death of King William the Good leaves Warnerstock in civil war, and King Salazar the Pushy of Ticktockia seizes the kingdom and taxes its people into poverty. Yakko, Wakko and Dot Warner have nothing, and Dot needs an operation. Wakko earns a ha'penny in a nearby town, but the tax collector Plotz takes it. Wakko wishes on a star; a fairy tells him it is the sky's only wishing star, and it lands in the mountains. Whoever touches it earns a single wish, and the whole town races for it.
