Plot summary
Summer vacation is a day away, and Tom, Dan and Victor, three adolescent friends, choose to begin it early by skipping the last day of school. Their day's amusements land them in minor trouble and carry them to Blackwood Studios, a film lot at the edge of town that stands abandoned. The boys witness a masked man force a woman along in chains. They flee and ask the police for help, but the officers treat the teenagers as nuisances rather than witnesses, and the three go home.
