Plot summary
Scott and his girlfriend Valerie join Trey and Daniel on a trip to a spiritual retreat, where a guru runs a sweat lodge that stands on a spot separating our reality from another dimensional plane. The friends take part in the ceremony there and black out. When they come to, they are in the alternate plane, an astral purgatory. Four ancient spirits live there, gold hunters from centuries past, and they want to take over the young people's bodies so they can cross back into the living world. The friends have only their wits and willpower to hold the spirits off, because whoever loses this fight stays stranded in the empty wasteland.
