Plot summary

Nolan Parthmore works in his game store and flirts with his co-worker. A courier brings him an antique helmet with no note explaining it. When Nolan puts it on, the helmet stirs and cries out to Lord Dragsmere, the demon his dead father had locked away. Nolan learns that the Nobleman's title passes down his family line and that he inherits it, bound to be a hero whether he wants to be or not. The Noblemen have guarded the world against the Devil's Apostles since the Dark Ages.
