The Ye Olde Times Renaissance Faire holds rival medieval shows, and one troupe has performed together there for years. The fair's owner may hand the troupe's stage to a rival company of classically trained Shakespearean actors. Kate left a job at a bank to work at the fair, and Will, a college student, arrives at the fairgrounds, sent by his professor after he missed several classes. There he meets Kate.
