Plot summary
A woman is stalked by someone in a pumpkin-faced mask, and a VHS tape is left at her front door. She telephones a friend and then plays the tape. The tape contains gruesome stories that may be real. One follows Elizabeth, a babysitter, who minds a young boy and his dog and carves a pumpkin with him. A husband and wife refuse to greet four trick or treaters, and the wife asks him to let them in.
